The Weekend Update 5.10 - 5.13

Holy smokes, it’s finally Thursday. After last weekend's abundance of events, I was ready for my Friday Eve when the alarm clock went off Monday morning. You did good Denton, and this weekend is no exception. There is more music happening than any single persons earbuds can handle, but we challenge you to try.

Harvest House

What better way to kick off the pre-weekend than with a Radiohead tribute night? Become mesmerized by sounds and catch that sway from one of their specialty cocktails. Lost Poet Lounge: Music Induced Poetry

Wine Squared

Spoken word catches the vibes with poetry recited alongside its own instrumental sound track this evening at Wine^2. From 8 - 10 p.m., performers will do their spoken word magic to the tunes of their own chosen tracks. Enjoy the show, a sensational wine list, and one of those finely paired meat and cheese boards.

Johnny Manchild & The Poor Bastards, Lovely, and Remain

Killers Tacos

EDM Rehab1

Parker House

ICYMI, EDM Rehab is making its debut Denton with an out of the world line up of EDM DJ’s, performers, vendors, and more. Bonus, it’s BYOB. So the money you put down on the ticket (well worth it TBH) won’t get you into an event selling $12 beers, but to one where coolers are welcome. Make sure to bring some water to stay hydrated, your glow sticks and poi, because this event will have you movin’.

Funk at the Monk 3

The Bearded Monk

In its 3rd installation, the Funk at the Monk will feature the sounds of Puddin Taine and The Boombachs as well as select tappings of the funkiest of sours and wild beer. Going from 6pm to 1am, there is plenty of time to stop in, grab yourself the wildest beer in its natural habitat, while catching some funky tunes.
