STREAM: Ditch Prince "Bad Charity"

The opening riff to Bad Charity by Ditch Prince is a short and rewarding hook that pulls the listener through a frantic pop-punk tune. Gregory Brown sings the verses with a smooth flow as a synth swirls underneath the pause-laden pacing of his guitar. A quirky bridge plants a reflective montage of music while never letting up the energy. By the time the song ends it's hard to figure out if what you've heard is more pop or more hard rock.

Ditch Prince was originally conceived by Gregory Brown in Philadelphia before coming to fruition in DFW with a debut EP (Bad News First) recorded by Michael Briggs in Denton. The band is filled out by Nick Groesch on synth and Dean Adams on drums.
