Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studio's Ceases All Operations

A little more than a year after the venue closed its doors, Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studio's in Denton will cease all operations on Monday, August 14, including the rental of its rehearsal spaces behind the venue.

"The most revered venue this town has ever known is closed," business owner Josh Baish said in a recent letter. "Ironically, the rehearsal studios, the very namesake of RGRS, [will] cease operations [soon]."

Eviction notices were handed out earlier this week, Garrett Gravley told The Dentonite. Gravley worked at Rubber Gloves for about a year and a half as a talent buyer prior to the venue's closing last summer.

"I'm helping Josh get his affairs in order," Gravley said, "and telling people to vacate was one of those things."

Following Monday's cease of operations, the venue and rehearsal spaces will likely be put on the market for sale. We will update this story when more information becomes available.
