Denton Grille to Open in May

The Denton Grille is brining a refreshing new concept to the downtown Denton area, American/Pakistani fusion. They held their soft opening last week, and have been serving lunch since then.

Taking over the corner previously home to Boardwalk Cafe, The Denton Grille will hold its grand opening on May 4th. The pictures of soon-to-be menu items, courtesy of their Facebook page, feature fresh ingredients and beautiful hand-crafted plates that will bring a new kind of dining experience to The Square with their creative offerings.

The Denton Grille concept is the brainchild of Behzad Sarhady, an entrepreneur and local who is focusing his efforts on the success of this new venture. The execution of this vision will not be on Sarhadys alone, but with the skills and talent of Head Chef Collin Cothes, and business partner Sibtain Alvi.

“Being local Dentonites, we are extremely excited about serving the community with great tasting food and a unique dining experience. We are just very happy to be apart of this community around The Square and in Denton,” said Sarhady.

Collin Cothes has been giving us sneak peaks with posts on his Facebook page, and every plate looks absolutely delicious. “Being in the roll of chef I am most excited about bringing the broad spectrum of cuisine I have learned over the years to the table.” said Cothes, and his experiences range from your neighborhood bar and grill to the white table cloths of fine dining, with most of his culinary career having been grown locally. “Being a local I am excited to share food with family and friends, though we consider anyone who walks into The Denton Grille to be a friend.”

UPDATE: The previous establishment in the space held by Denton Grille was Boardwalk Cafe, not Broadway Cafe. The article has been changed to make this correction.
