Bearded Monkiversary Beer List Announcement
For the second straight year, the Bearded Monk's anniversary celebration takes place a month after their actual anniversary. The Dentonite has the scoop on a special selection of beers that will be available on tap Saturday for craft beer aficionados to relish.
The Bearded Monk has won Best of Denton County Bar Staff in both years of its existence, and they're also winners of Best of Denton County Bar Patio for 2017. That patio is going to be packed Friday night as they attempt to outdo last year's beer shotgunning of approximately 300 people.
It'll be a weekend full of live music, live screen printing from Pint Services, and craft beer camaraderie.
Bearded Monk Beer List (Available Saturday, October 15)
- The Bruery's 9 Year Anniversary blend Saule
- Jolly Pumpkin/Jester King Olas Espaciales
- Jester King's El Cedro, Aurelian Lure and Fen Tao (the last two in bottles were a brewery-only release)
- Avery's Rumpkin and Uncle Jacobs
- Prairie's BDAY Bomb
- 4 Prairie Bomb Variants with Chiles, Cacao Nibs, Coffee and Vanilla (these haven't been on together since East Side last had them)
- Firestone Walker's Helldorado
- Oskar Blues BA Ten Fiddy (a rare bourbon barrel-aged stout from last year)
- Birra Baladin's Isaac (a keg shipped from Italy just for us!)
- Tupps Brewing's Full Grown Jack (rare imperial stout aged in Jack Daniel's barrels with pumpkin spices)
- Martin House's Queen of the Mist aged with red currants
- Feisty Red Head, a rare variant of the über-popular Feisty Blonde
- Community's rare Macallan Barrel-Aged Legion from last year
- Community's rare Wit N Wild
- Lakewood Brewing's Anniversary Lions Share V
