Weekend Update 11/9-11/12

Novemburr, am I right?

If the recent temperature drop has got you looking for ways to warm up, look no further.
This weekend is jam packed with opportunities to get your spirits and your body temperatures up. There’s a throwback dance party this weekend at Backyard on Bell honoring Now That’s What I Call Music if you’re itching to dance to some early 2000s chart-toppers. Andy’s is sure to get you all hot and bothered with another sexy installment of Glitterbomb on Thursday. But if all you need is a toasty sweater to keep cozy, maybe you should check out Alfie Archives, a brand-new vintage clothing pop up shop opening downtown this weekend.

Can’t wait for Black Friday to start your holiday shopping? No fear- several businesses downtown are participating in a Holiday Open House to showcase local goods and services perfect for giving to loved ones this winter.  Speaking of loved ones: we bid farewell to Audacity Brew House, a beloved Denton staple, this week. Be sure to grab a few pints this weekend and reminisce on fond memories of shows and, of course, craft brews.

Stay warm out there, Dentonites. Here’s your weekend update.
