Gallery Report - November 11, 2016

In the aftermath of the election, we're finding out how divisive this country truly is. The incredible fear of uncertainty is overwhelming, but there is some solace in knowing that we maintain the right to express ourselves. Here's hoping that art will never die. Make some time to check out the town's featured art this weekend. Every piece has the possibility of giving new perspectives.

A $5 special exhibition admission (Free for GDAC members and current students) will allow viewers to get a behind-the-scenes look at how comic superheroes are created.

Zines are vital in a DIY culture. Works of Randy Guthmiller presents the works of an artist and educator who founded Dallas Zine Party and Shape Zines. The former is an annual celebration of zines, and the latter is a publishing house dedicated to micro-publications. The works are featured in the Festival Hall with no charge for admission until December 8th.
